Customer needs
This is a new villa located in the Caribbean, the client wanted to build a completely independent off-grid system to run the home’s swimming pool, E-car, heat pumps and other large inductive loads as well as a large number of household loads such as lights. The customer hopes that this system can be completely separated from the grid and can realize the purpose of self-use.
25kW hybrid solar energy system
After further communication with the customer, considering the customer’s load power and running time, since the new villa has no power consumption for reference, we recommend a 40kw off-grid solar system for the customer based on previous similar customer experience. Equipped with 40kw solar panels and 40kw power frequency inverter for customers, the daily power generation can reach about 200-250kwh. Because the off-grid system is very dependent on lighting conditions, the energy storage of the battery is very important. After communicating with the customer, we finally equipped the customer with a 76.8kwh lithium battery based on the local natural lighting conditions and the customer’s needs.
According to this scheme, the electricity produced by the solar panel is given priority to the load during the day, and the excess electricity can be stored in the battery for use at night or on rainy days. The system has been successfully installed and is currently working well.
