Customer needs
The factory is an ice making plant. It consumes a lot of electricity both during the day and at night, so the electricity bill is very high. The customer wanted to reduce costs by means of a photovoltaic system. In order to guarantee power supply at night, the customer wants the battery storage capacity to be as large as possible.
2.2MW / 2.88MWh off-grid solar energy system
Considering the customer’s roof installation space and electricity consumption and other needs we finally gave a proposal of 2.2MWp PV panels, the daily power generation is estimated to be 8.8MWh (because the customer’s local lighting conditions are better, so the power generation efficiency is higher and the total power generation in a single day is better). . Of this 8.8MWh, 6MW will be used for the factory’s production for the day and the extra 2.8MW will be stored in batteries for night cooling. The customer is very happy with this solution.
* The circuit connection diagrams for higher power are protected and you can contact our team if you want to get your own circuit connection diagram. After discussing your proposal, we will provide you with a free wiring diagram and roof placement plan to suit your needs.
Roof placement diagram
The following diagram shows the placement of this project, the client used a roof mount and did not require an angle. We have maximised the utilisation of the roof and left access for later servicing as shown below.
